Biggest Morning Tea — Curnow brothers’ trolley challenge

Being eight years apart, brothers Ed and Charlie Curnow had many lopsided battles over the journey.

As the eldest child, Ed was often victorious in their backyard battles, which, according to the man himself, always had a specific theme.

“The only competition between us revolved around who could eat the most,” Ed told AFLPlayers.com.au.

“We try and beat each other and rag on each other and Charlie would be just hanging around eating.”

So when he pair had the chance to do battle for the Cancer Council Victoria’s Trolley Challenge in support of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, it was Charlie’s turn to seek revenge.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is Cancer Council’s most popular fundraising event and the largest, most successful event of its kind in Australia. The idea is simple, just get your friends, colleagues or community together over some tea and treats, and help raise vital money for people affected by cancer.

All of the donations made across the country go towards helping your local Cancer Council achieve it’s mission of a cancer free future.

With that in mind, the Curnows had to build their own tea trolley flat-pack and fill it with morning tea treats before being judged on the result.
