As part of his role as Myer’s Spring Racing Carnival Ambassador, Brett Deledio has been spending the last month working hard to perfect his style for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

While most fans would have seen Deledio and Marc Murphy looking sharp in the Myer Marquee on Cup Day, they wouldn’t be aware of the work involved to get to that stage.

Attending Myer’s ‘Night of Style,’ Deledio provided some handy tips for punters who are looking to stand out at Flemington.

“It’s great to be involved with Myer because they’re a huge part of the Melbourne Cup Carnival,” Deledio said.

“I’ve always enjoyed going along and getting dressed up, and they’ve got some great brands that can help me pull a look off.”

Based on his taste, and what the professionals deemed to be on trend, Deledio was provided with a couple of options.

“My tips are reasonably limited, but I’ve been told that charcoal is in this year and pocket squares are a must.”

The decision was difficult, but Deledio eventually opted for the blue number!
