Goldsack finds the tonic

Tyson Goldsack may have found a niche in the market.

It’s rare to come across functional drinks in Australia that can provide the type of kick you need, and are healthy at the same time.

Conversely, is there a drink that can give the reserve effect and help you to relax?

Along with co-founders Leigh Morgan, Michael Brinkley and Toby Tap, Goldsack and Collingwood Football Club dietitian Dr. Emily Walker have worked tirelessly to create three natural products that can be used in a number of different ways.

UTONIC is the brand, and the three drinks are called Charge, Repair and Calm, with each beverage being scientifically designed.

“I had the idea of an energy drink that is still good for you but gives you a kick when you need it,” Goldsack told Aflplayers.com.au.

“Leigh, who is a co-founder, wanted something that could help him relax, so we came up with an idea to create a range of drinks that are functional.”

Fellow co-founder, Toby Yap wanted to find a drink that could alleviate stress and assist in providing a relaxed nature that has the potential to benefit sleeping patterns.

The UTONIC team use wholefoods and natural products, with all of the ingredients having plenty of science behind them.

“We want people to be able to find something in the market that’s not going to do them harm and is going to change the way they live in a sense,” Goldsack added.

The team have put more than 12 months of work into the venture, and have their sights set on a release this month.
