Pendlebury tells his TeamUp story

Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury is always on the move.

He loves to keep active, whether it’s in the middle of the MCG or walking his dog with fiancée Alex Davis.

Basketball is another passion for Pendlebury.

Last year he used VicHealth’s TeamUp app to get involved with some community basketball.

“It was a great experience and it’s always more fun getting out with other people. It’s a great initiative from VicHealth,” Pendlebury said.

From organised activities like football, netball and Zumba to more recreational pursuits such as biking, walking or jogging groups, TeamUp features more than 1500 activities for all fitness levels and interests.

Alex has also downloaded the TeamUp app – which recently underwent a makeover – and loves it.

Alex recently used the app to connect with Katie Deledio, wife of Richmond star Brett, and Brit Davis, Joel Selwood’s partner. Watch their experience in the video above.

VicHealth’s TeamUp app can be downloaded for smartphone, via Apple Store (iPhone) and Google Play (android) – or used online via teamup.com.au.
