Players give back to communities

Pre-seasons can be drawn-out, arduous affairs for even the most dedicated footballers. But each year, somewhere amongst the endless weights sessions and exhausting time-trials, players from every AFL club spend a couple of days at camps in regional and rural communities throughout Australia – or in St Kilda’s case, New Zealand. Players ventured far and wide during the 2013-2014 break to ensure they gave something back to the community while enjoying a much-needed break from pre-season training. Here are some of our favourite photos from the various community camps.
