Players To Move In May

Coinciding with IDAHOT, the AFL Players’ Association is supporting Stand Up Events – a not-for-profit organisation led by Angie Greene, daughter of former St Kilda and Hawthorn legend Russell Greene.

Stand Up Events supports the LGBTIQ community throughout Victoria, with a focus on raising awareness for sexual and gender equality.

Stand Up Events will be hosting its CGU Move in May fun run on Sunday 22 May at The Tan Running Track in Melbourne. It is the only event of this scale that supports and celebrates IDAHOT with the potential to grow and become one the biggest events in Australia that caters for all communities.

The fun run will feature the likes of Hawthorn premiership player Matt Spangher and a host of other player ambassadors.

Move In May will also include a post event celebration – encouraging as many families as possible to attend and support equality and inclusion in our society.
