The best of the MoleMap series

The AFL Players’ Association teamed up with MoleMap throughout summer to spread the message of skin checks within the Australian lifestyle.

As part of the series, AFL players Andrew Mackie and Tom Lonergan, Daisy Pearce and Mel Hickey and Luke Breust and Isaac Smith described their football journeys — most of which involved being outdoors and playing sport from an early age.

With two out of three Australians getting skin cancer in their lifetime, early detection is vital and can save your life.

MoleMap is an organisation raising awareness for skin checks and is the number one choice for skin cancer detection for over 250,000 patients.

Currently, more than 750,000 people are treated for skin cancer in Australia each year — with 95 to 99 per cent of skins cancers caused by exposure to the sun.

The three videos included discussions about family, the 2016 season, the rise of AFLW and changes of personnel at footy clubs.
