Time running out for prospective agents

Applications close this week for the revamped AFL Players’ Association Professional Certificate (Player Agent) course in 2015.

Under the new system, the Agent Accreditation Exam is incorporated into a 1.5-day course in June on player management where participants will learn the ins and outs of effective player management and hear from key industry figures, increasing the standard and knowledge of those coming into the industry to represent the best interests of players.

The exam itself is a 3.5-hour open book exam, covering all the relevant codes and policies of AFL football such as the CBA, AFL Rules and Agent Regulations.  Applicants are required to achieve a mark of 75 per cent or better and those that pass will attend our annual conference which includes a half-day induction session.

In support of their application, applicants must also secure professional indemnity insurance, undertake a police record check, and submit their CV.

Applications must be in by noon on Thursday, June 4 and can be made via the link below.
