Todd Goldstein

The in-form Goldstein has taken all before him in one of the better seasons seen by a ruckman in recent years.

Goldstein has had career-high averages for disposals (15) and hitouts (45) this season, with an AFL record 80 hitouts in Round 12 against GWS as well as 27 disposals, eight clearances, and eight marks in a dominant display against the Bombers three weeks later.

Bound for All-Australian honours, the 27-year-old has consolidated himself as the premier big-man in the competition.

Shaun Higgins

Arguably the recruit of the season, Higgins’ 2015 has been the best of his 10-year career.

The 27-year-old has relished the move as a permanent high half-forward at his new club, using his exquisite finishing skills to good effect.

Leading the club’s goal-kicking, Higgins is also averaging 20 disposals a game, with his 22 possessions, six tackles, four inside 50s and four goals against the premiership-contending Eagles in Round 10 one of his highlights.

Drew Petrie

While there was plenty of hype surrounding the arrival of former Blue Jarrad Waite at the start of the season, Petrie’s 2015 has reminded everyone why he’s still the Kangaroos’ most important forward.

The 289-game veteran looks a certainty to crack the 40-goal mark for the fifth consecutive season – he sits on 38 goals heading into Round 23 – and has averaged more than seven marks per game for just the second season in his 15-year career.
