After being drafted late in the 2001 National draft Swan has become one of the AFL's most decorated and recognisable players. The prolific ball-winnerholds individual honours that include winning the 2011Brownlow Medal, being named All-Australian four times, winner of the Leigh Matthews trophy in 2010 and a three time club Best and Fairest winner. A strongly built midfielder who is dangerous up forward, Swan is able to break tags with his unique ability to repeatedly out-sprint his opponents.
