West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey has adopted the position of club delegate since the beginning of the 2016 season. Shuey was selected by the West Coast Eagles with the 18th pick in the 2008 national draft, a decision which meant Shuey would fly across the country from Victoria. Known for his ability to break from stoppages at pace, Shuey missed his entire debut season through injury before making his debut in 2010. His form has only increased since then claiming the John Worsfold medal in 2016.
