A Hot Wheels Session With Luke Hodge

Some of the game’s biggest names are visiting junior footy clubs this season to find out what makes kids’ wheels spin under a partnership with Hot Wheels.

The iconic car and games brand is in the third year of a partnership with the AFL Players’ Association, with Hawthorn premiership captain Luke Hodge one of 18 players who is reliving his boyhood and appearing on an annual Hot Wheels collector poster, nominating his go-to car.

Other players involved include Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield, Adelaide’s Eddie Betts, Melbourne’s Jesse Hogan, West Coast’s Josh Kennedy, Collingwood’s Steele Sidebottom and Carlton’s Patrick Cripps.

In the latest installment, Hodge paid a visit to his son Cooper’s team, the Ashburton Redbacks Under 8s, and fired questions at the boys in a fun Q&A session.

The best part of the day, however, was when Hodgey provided them with their own Hot Wheels prize pack.

Hot Wheels are the favourite wheels of AFL Players, so watch here for more videos of players visiting junior footy clubs.
