All the AFL Players’ MVP Award Winners

The AFL Players’ MVP Awards have been held at Peninsula in Docklands, with Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe becoming just the third player to win consecutive Leigh Matthews Trophies.

Other awards unveiled throughout the evening included;

The Robert Rose Most Courageous Award, presented by The Line,

Best Captain, presented by L’Oreal Men Expert,

Best First Year Player, presented by Tissot, and

The 22Under22 team.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING EXCELLENCE AWARD, PRESENTED BY LA TROBE UNIVERSITY – MIKE PYKE (SYDNEY SWANS)

The Education and Training Excellence Award, presented by La Trobe University, was given to Sydney Swan’s Mike Pyke for his outstanding commitment to his Masters in Commerce and career development.

GRANT HATTAM AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN SPORTS journalism, presented by M+K Lawyers

Adrian Brown and the Western Bulldogs won the Grant Hattam Award for Excellence in Sports Journalism, presented by M+K Lawyers.

Decided by the AFL Players’ board, Adrian and the Bulldogs were given the award for their video series ‘Sons of the West’.
