A prolific display from Collingwood midfielder Brittany Bonnici headlines the Round 3 AFLW MVP of the Week nominations, proudly supported by July.
In-form Western Bulldogs midfielder Ellie Blackburn earned her second-straight nomination after another dominant display against Geelong, while Greater Western Sydney’s Alyce Parker was influential in her side’s first victory for the season over Gold Coast.

Bonnici was on fire in a powerful Magpie display, gathering 31 disposals to do plenty of damage around stoppages, while she also ran to create to finish the game with 10 marks.
Her 31 disposals tied for the fourth-most all-time in an AFLW game, behind Anne Hatchard (35 disposals), Ebony Marinoff (34) and Jaimee Lambert (32).
Blackburn and teammate Kirsty Lamb ran riot in the midfield for the Bulldogs, with the captain proving the difference between the sides on her way to a game-high 25 disposals.
Blackburn has been one of the most consistently high-performing players in the fifth instalment of the AFLW competition.
In wet conditions at Blacktown, Parker’s ability to be clean stood out as she amassed 24 disposals, including six clearances, and laying five tackles.
The All Australian did not stop moving from contest to contest and she was sensational in a character-building win for the Giants.
The AFL Players’ Association AFLW MVP of the Week is in its fourth year and looks to recognise the AFLW’s best performers each round. Fans will get the choice to select the MVP of the Week, after three names have been put forward by the AFLPA.
