Selecting a team of the best players aged 22 and under is always a tough task. Here’s a breakdown of every member of the AFLPA’s AFLW #22Under22 31-player squad to help you in that process, thanks to Champion Data.

Defenders

Chloe Molloy – Equal-sixth in the competition for uncontested marks and third at Collingwood for score involvements.

Sarah Allan – Equal-fourth in the competition for spoils and top-20 for intercept possessions. Also had the fourth most disposals of any key defender.

Gabby Newton – Ranked equal-13th in the competition for hardball-gets and second at the Bulldogs for contested possessions.

McKenzie Dowrick – Finished with the 17th-best kicking efficiency of the top 250-players for total kicks.

Charlotte Wilson – Took the third most intercept marks of any player across the competition, also ranked equal seventh for spoils and equal 22nd for intercept possessions.

Isabel Huntington – Ranked equal-first for intercept marks and second for intercept possessions across the competition.

Libby Birch – Ranked equal-seventh across the competition for intercept possessions and fourth for intercept marks.

Jasmine Grierson – Ranked second at North Melbourne for spoils and fourth in uncontested possessions.

Ebony Marinoff – Ranked No. 1 in the competition for marks, second for disposals and tackles and sixth for clearances.

Olivia Purcell – Ranked equal-first across the competition for clearances, sixth for contested possessions, equal-eighth for score involvements and 11th for disposals.

Eden Zanker – Ranked equal-11th across the competition for hit-outs and ranked equal-first for tackles of all ruck players.

Nina Morrison – Ranked in the top-20 of the competition for both pressure acts and handball receives. Ranked No.1 at Geelong in tackles and second for total kicks.

Anne Hatchard – Ranked No.1 across the competition for disposals, second for groundball-gets and fourth for contested possessions and pressure acts.

Monique Conti – Ranked eighth in the competition for contested possessions and 12th for disposals. Also ranked sixth of all midfielders for metres gained.

Tyla Hanks – Ranked equal-ninth across the competition for pressure acts and 22nd for tackles. Ranked No.1 at Melbourne for tackles and third for contested possessions.

Georgia Gee – Ranked equal-second at Carlton for goals and equal third for score involvements. Ranked third across the competition for forward half looseball-gets.

Kalinda Howarth – Kicked the equal-second most goals of any player in the competition and ranked equal-fifth for scoreboard impact. Won the equal-10th most contested possessions inside 50.

Jesse Wardlaw – Took the equal second most marks inside 50 and booted the equal-fourth most goals. Also ranked equal-fifth for contested marks.

Danielle Ponter – Ranked equal-12th across the competition for forward half marks and ranked No.1 at Adelaide for scoreboard impact.

Sophie Conway – Ranked fourth at Brisbane for score involvements and equal-eighth across the competition for inside 50s.

Caitlin Greiser – Ranked No.1 across the competition for goals and equal-third for score involvements.
