AFL Players’ General Manager of Player Relations, Ian Prendergast spoke to SEN’s Morning Glory program this morning regarding the former Essendon players who’ve chosen to seek legal advice independent of the legal team put together by the AFL Players’ Association.
“Every one of these 34 players has their own individual circumstances to consider. We’ve understood that the entire time,” Prendergast said.
“Whilst we believe strongly that a joint approach is best, if an individual wants to take a certain course of action we’ll support them whole-heartedly, provided they understand all of the options available to them.”
