The AFL Players’ Association can confirm that Lachlan Keeffe and Josh Thomas have received notification that a sample given on 10 February 2015 was found to contain a prohibited substance.

The players received notification of the sample on Friday 27 March 2015 and have been informed that they are provisionally suspended pending the testing of their B sample.

The provisional suspension is not an admission of guilt or wrongdoing.

The Players’ Association will continue to provide appropriate support to the players.
