The AFL Players’ Association is aware that ASADA has notified West Coast Eagles player Willie Rioli of an Adverse Analytical Finding, alleging Urine Substitution, which is a Prohibited Method under the Australian Football Anti-Doping Code. The allegation relates to an out of competition test on August 20, 2019.

ASADA processes are strictly confidential under the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Act, and it is inappropriate to speculate on details of the case, or pre-empt the outcome.

The AFL Players’ Association will continue to provide support to Willie and the club throughout the process.
