The AFL Players’ Association has teamed up with Cancer Council Victoria to support The Longest Day of Golf.
The Longest Day is an endurance golf challenge designed to test skill, strength and stamina. The challenge is to successfully complete four rounds of golf on a single day, whilst raising funds for skin cancer research.
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. More than 750,000 people are treated for skin cancer each year.
Melbourne’s Jack Watts and Angus Brayshaw — two footballers taking part in the event to raise funds and awareness for cancer research — talk about the effects of the disease, who’s the better golfer and an eventful recent match-up between the pair.
