Mackie, Longergan talk Cats, friends and family

Teaming up with MoleMap, Geelong premiership heroes Andrew Mackie and Tom Lonergan reflect on their first impressions of the city of Geelong, becoming parents and their highlight for 2016 on and off the field.

Drafted to the Cats in 2002, Mackie and Lonergan relocated to Geelong — Mackie from South Australia and Longergan from Yarrawonga — and have since played alongside each other in multiple premierships throughout their 14 years in the AFL.

Bringing the pair together on Geelong’s Eastern Beach, MoleMap is the number one choice for skin cancer detection for over 250,000 patients.

Currently, more than 750,000 people are treated for skin cancer in Australia each year — with 95 to 99 per cent of skins cancers caused by exposure to the sun. Two out of three Australians will get skin cancer in their lifetime.

As part one of MoleMap’s three-part series, Mackie and Lonergan give an insight into the Cats inner sanctum while reflecting on their year.
