Our Partners

The AFL Players’ Association works with a number of corporate, social leadership and community partners to deliver benefits across its premium events and digital platforms, as well as activate bespoke campaigns.

The AFLPA has the ability to connect brands with more than 800 AFL, 400 AFLW and 4,000 alumni players across all 18 clubs. The AFLPA can offer access to a digital audience of more than 11 million people. 

We thrive on working with brands that share our values and seek to connect them with players that are aligned based on passion, interests or experience. 

A key focus of our partnerships is to highlight the individual personalities of AFL players, which gives fans an opportunity to view them in another light. 

As a not-for-profit organisation, our partnerships play an important role in funding education programs and support services for our members. 

Torrens University

Torrens University is the official education partner of the AFL Players’ Association. As part of Torrens’ partnership with the AFLPA, the University offered scholarships to three AFL and AFLW players in 2021. The players to receive scholarships in 2021 include Melbourne’s Alex Neal-Bullen, Gold Coast AFLW player and AFLPA board member Leah Kaslar and Adelaide’s Reilly O’Brien.

Local Expert

The AFLPA has teamed up with Local Expert to provide a new pathway to new careers, post or during a players’ career. Local Expert, an Aspire42 brand, supports trade and service providers with a platform to generate business and take care of all the admin that comes with it. Through the partnership, players have an easy way to identify, train and be successful in a new trade or service career.

Snaffle

Snaffle, an Aspire42 brand, is bringing a fresh approach to traditional consumer leasing. Through their partnership with the AFLPA, Snaffle are the proud partner of both the men’s and women’s MVP Awards, AFL and AFLW 22Under22, AFLW MVP of the Week and AFL MVP of the Month.

The Diamond Guys

Diamond experts, so that neither the players nor fans have to be!  The Diamond Guys are the presenting partner of the Best Captain Awards in both the AFL and AFLW competitions, providing exclusively created jewellery pieces for our winners of those awards as well as support for the  Season Celebration and Madden Medal award.

Shadforth Financial Group

Supporting AFL Players through financial literacy and education opportunities, Shadforth Financial Group has worked closely with the AFLPA and its Superannuation Partner, AMP, for many years, generously sharing their knowledge and expertise across all player cohorts.

Zurich

Zurich Insurance is one of the driving forces of the Tackle Your Feelings program, which delivers mental health training for local footy clubs and coaches and is spearheaded by player ambassadors Neville Jetta and Kara Antonio.

Tixstar is the event management partner of the AFL Players’ annual Grand Final Brunch, and a supporting partner of the MVP Awards Night.  A destination for premium sport and entertainment experiences, Tixstar has worked with the AFLPA to host a magnificent Grand Final day experience at Metropolis over the past two years for corporate guests and footy fans alike.

MSC Signs

Manufacturers of premium signage, MSC Signs has worked with the AFLPA to bring to life its corporate and event branding and signage, as well as that of many of its other partnerships.

VicHealth

Working with AFL Players to promote its annual Walk to School Program, VicHelath aims to create a Victoria where everyone can enjoy better health and wellbeing.  A star-studded line up of AFL and AFLW players endorse the fun of walking, scooting and riding to school during official Walk to School month to increase their daily exercise.
