The AFLPA Transition Camp is an annual event where past players, AFLPA staff and other stakeholders gather to upskill and provide networking, mentoring and potential employment opportunities for those transitioning out of the AFL system.

Born out of feedback from the playing group as one of the two focus areas for their association, alongside mental health, the camp is set over multiple days and includes specific sessions to continue to educate and upskill former players, followed by a business expo.

Attendees also hear from guest speakers, including other former players and individuals from within and outside the AFL industry, about different stories and experiences transitioning out of elite sport and the corporate world.
