Nat Fyfe’s stunning season – and charge towards his first AFL Coaches’ Association Champion Player of the Year Award – has continued.
The Fremantle star picked up 10 votes against Gold Coast on Saturday to extend his lead at the top of the leaderboard to 29 votes.
Fyfe has polled 90 of a possible 110 votes this year to lead Dan Hannebery (61 votes) and Matt Priddis (47).
Hannebery failed to poll in Sydney’s win over North Melbourne – Todd Goldstein and Luke Parker were award eight votes apiece in that clash.
Geelong veteran Corey Enright got 10 votes for his role across half back against Port Adelaide – in his 299th game. Chad Wingard received eight votes in his best game of the year.
West Coast midfielder Andrew Gaff moved into the top 10 for the first time this season with seven votes against Essendon. Mark LeCras and Priddis also picked up seven.
Marley Williams was adjudged Collingwood’s best performer against GWS while Bernie Vince was handed 10 for his role for the Demons in their loss to the Saints.
