Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe has pulled even further away from the pack in the voting for the AFL Coaches’ Champion Player of the Year Award.
The 23-year-old polled another eight votes from the coaches after a 30-disposal, three goal performance in the Dockers’ nail-biting win over the Western Bulldogs. But it was Bulldogs forward Tory Dickson who scored a perfect 10 from the coaches, thanks to his seven goals.
North Melbourne’s Jack Ziebell, Adelaide’s Eddie Betts, Sydney’s Luke Parker and Brisbane’s Dayne Beams were others to receive 10 votes over the weekend, with Betts jumping into the top ten in overall voting.
Meanwhile, Richmond skipper Trent Cotchin returned to his best, polling nine votes from the coaches in an outstanding performance against Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday.
