The AFL Players’ Garage was created from a collaboration between the AFL Players’ Association and Hot Wheels.
With children’s brands trending towards content – think movies such as the Lego Movie – Hot Wheels wanted to create their own.
Inspired by AFL Junior Squadron, which was hosted by Garry Lyon, the AFL Players’ Garage was born.
From there, and with the help of SparkLabs Producion, the Garage was moulded to become a fun and innovative way for children to combine their love of football and Hot Wheels cars.
Hosted by Patrick Dangerfield, each episode saw a host of AFL and AFLW stars enter the Garage to compete in a series of champion challenges, Daytona car racing and the infamous Danger Zone.
