Svarc continued her strong start to the season on Sunday with a clear best-on-ground performance, gathering 23 disposals, laying 11 tackles and kicking two goals. Svarc led the way for the Lions, keeping her opponent Alyce Parker to just 11 touches as Brisbane solidified their spot at the top of Conference A on the AFLW ladder.
Enjoying one of her best performances for the season, North Melbourne skipper Kearney collected 26 disposals, seven marks and five inside 50s. Kearney’s gut-running and hard-work in the midfield was pivotal in North Melbourne’s four-point victory over Gold Coast.
Despite the Tigers’ loss to Geelong on the weekend, Conti’s performance was a clear standout. Conti was a influential from the first siren, gathering five possessions halfway through the first term before finishing the game with 28 touches, five tackles, three inside 50s and three rebound 50s.
