Crows’ stars headline final MVP of the Week

Dominant performances from Adelaide duo Ebony Marinoff and Anne Hatchard headline the final AFLW MVP of the Week award nominees for 2021, proudly supported by July.

Rising Lions star Dakota Davidson is the other nominee in line for the weekly award.

Marinoff was at her match-winning best in Saturday’s preliminary final collecting a game-high 35 disposals, 13 tackles and seven inside 50s as the Crows stormed home to their third AFLW grand final berth.

Marinoff’s teammate Hatchard was also prolific in the 18-point victory, finishing the game with 27 touches and a goal.

In a hard-fought win, Davidson kicked a game-high three goals to help steer the Lions to a thrilling four-point victory over Collingwood. The 22-year-old was dominant in the forward-line, gathering 12 touches and taking five marks.
