Brett Deledio and his wife Katie used to push each other in training.
Brett, the Richmond utility, and Katie, a former sprinter, are competitive.
Lately, however, with their first child on the way, the sprinting on the beach has been replaced with less strenuous activities.
And that’s where VicHealth’s TeamUp app has come in handy.
From organised activities like football, netball and Zumba to more recreational pursuits such as biking, walking or jogging groups, TeamUp features more than 1500 activities for all fitness levels and interests.
Both Brett and Katie have downloaded the TeamUp app – which recently underwent a makeover – and like to stay active.
Katie recently used the app to connect with Alex Davis, fiancee of Collingwood’s Scott, and Brit Davis, Joel Selwood’s partner. Watch their experience in the video above.
VicHealth’s TeamUp app can be downloaded for smartphone, via Apple Store (iPhone) and Google Play (android) – or used online via teamup.com.au.
