Joe Daniher is known for his unique personality, and his fun approach to playing football.
The 24-year-old arrived in the AFL the system with the weight of a famous family on his shoulders, and the pressure to perform at one of the biggest clubs in the country.
Since entering the competition, Daniher has played 100 games, kicked 181 goals and was named as an All-Australian in 2017.
And while 2018 was a frustrating, injury-interrupted year, the proud Northsider hasn’t let it get the better of him.

“There’s a lot of pressure and a lot of scrutiny that comes with the game, and at times it can be a challenge to put that aside and just be yourself,” Daniher explained.
“As you get older and spend more years in the system, you get more comfortable with who you are. I think it’s important that players feel comfortable and express who they are.”
In the video above, the Bombers’ spear-head opens up about what makes him tick away from the spotlight, the sense of community he gets from living in Victoria’s northern suburbs, how he handles scrutiny and the privileged position he is thankful to be in, brought to you by Gloria Jeans Coffees.
