GWS Giants – Tips from Phil Davis
Which established player is in for a huge season?
Davis says: “Ryan Griffin was good last year but I think he’s back to his best. I’m not sure how much he costs but he’d be pretty good value I would’ve thought and he’s in for a really big season.”
Ryan Griffin: SuperCoach: ($489,500 Mid)
AFL Fantasy: ($436,000 Mid)
Who do you expect to have a breakout year?
Davis says: “Nathan Wilson has been in and out of the side for the last couple of years, I think he’s played 30-odd games now, and is ready to go.”
Nathan Wilson: SuperCoach: ($277,700 Def)
AFL Fantasy: ($266,000 Def)
Which young gun will have a big impact in 2016?
Davis says: “I think Jack Steele and Caleb Marchbank will play a lot of footy this year. Steele is as hard as they come and is a tough inside player who gets a lot of tackles. And Marchbank is a good defender, is good in the air and is creative.”
Jack Steele: SuperCoach: ($312,200 Mid, Fwd)
AFL Fantasy: ($324,000 Mid, Fwd)
Caleb Marchbank: SuperCoach: ($215,800 Def)
