Two Roos are in the mix for AFLW MVP of the Week, proudly presented by Snaffle.
In the second week of AFLW finals, the Kangaroos dominated the Tigers at Punt Road, cementing their spot in the preliminary finals.
All eyes were on North Melbourne’s Jasmine Garner who, despite being tagged by some of Richmond’s best, was unstoppable throughout the contest. The star midfielder finished the match with two goals, 22 disposals, eight tackles, and seven clearances.
Garner wasn’t the only exciting Roo afield on Saturday, with fellow midfielder Ash Riddell putting on a showstopping performance. Riddell collected a game-high 30 disposals, seven marks, seven tackles, and finished with 538 metres gained.
Over at Unley Oval, the Crows’ Caitlin Gould shone in the ruck, collecting a stellar 28 hitouts. Even with the wet and wild conditions delaying the game, Gould’s performance was consistent through all four quarters. The top ruck also finished with a total 14 disposals, seven clearances, and six tackles for her side.
