Reigning AFLW MVP Emily Bates has claimed the Round 3 AFLW MVP of the Week Award, proudly presented by Snaffle.
Bates was again brilliant for the Lions in a walloping win over Gold Coast, winning the Q Clash Medal for best on ground. She had 20 disposals, eight score involvements and two direct goal assists.
Her performances so far in season 7 have reaffirmed exactly why she was voted as the players’ best player in Season 6.
Carlton’s Abbie McKay and Richmond’s Monique Conti were the other weekly nominees.
