Third Time Lucky: Conti claims another AFLW MVP of the Week nomination

Third time could be the charm for Richmond’s Monique Conti who has already been nominated twice this season for AFLW MVP of the Week, presented by Snaffle.

Richmond star Monique Conti was unstoppable over the weekend against the Giants. Conti finished with game-highs of 24 disposals and eight tackles, as well as a total of 441 metres gained. Even with the unfavourable weather, Conti also managed to boot three majors.

Charlie Rowbottom was powerful in the Suns’ midfield, collecting a game-high 26 disposals, including 15 contested possessions. Rowbottom also proved her defensive prowess against the Blues by finishing the match with seven tackles.

Despite the wild and windy conditions at Casey Fields on Sunday, Melbourne’s Kate Hore impressively managed to kick three goals for the Dees. Hore also finished the match with six tackles, with four of those laid inside 50.
