The cricket proverb doesn’t hold quite the same weight in the AFL, but try telling that to Essendon’s Michael Hibberd or Fremantle’s Tendai Mzungu. Both have plenty of experience marking footys, but proved more than handy when it came to catching cricket balls during the off-season.

Hibberd’s classic catch came during an exhibition match against the Melbourne Renegades, while Mzungu caught a six during Friday’s Big Bash Final at the WACA. Which catch was better? You be the judge.
