After a dominant display, Adelaide midfielder Anne Hatchard has taken out the vote for Round 2 of the MVP of the Week competition, brought to you by Snaffle.
With 29 disposals and a record-breaking 14 marks, the dual premiership star was on fire in the Crows’ 13-point win over the Kangaroos.
The 23-year-old rose to the occasion in a crucial second half for Adelaide, collecting seven disposals in the first six minutes of the third quarter.
Under siege from a dangerous opposing midfield, Hatchard worked under pressure to nullify the impact of North Melbourne’s repeat entries and seal the win for her side.
Hatchard’s efforts helped ensure the run of consecutive wins for the Crows remained intact, after defeating the resilient Kangaroos 5.7 (37) to 3.6 (24) at Norwood Oval on Sunday.
