TeamUp with Run for the Kids

TeamUp is proud to support Run for the Kids 2014, providing a fantastic opportunity for Victorians to get together, get out and get active for a good cause.

Thousands of Australians are set to take part in the annual event held this Sunday, in support of the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

TeamUp will have a strong presence at Run for the Kids, with the TeamUp photo booth located in the event village that will offer fun, free event-day photos for participants and their family and friends.

The TeamUp 20 Day Challenge begins on April 13, with participants encouraged to ‘get moving’ in any way they see fit.

All Victorians are invited to join the TeamUp 20 Day Challenge by downloading TeamUp, getting active each day, and sharing images of their participation on social media with the hashtag #20DC.

TeamUp, VicHealth’s free app, helps Victorians connect with others interested in running, walking, and hundreds of other sports and activities.

TeamUp offers ongoing training opportunities, once off social sports, and everything in-between – it’s a great place to start for those looking for their next fitness challenge.

Participants could win TeamUp prize packs and the chance to team up with pro AFL players Scott Pendlebury and Dan Jackson.

VicHealth’s free TeamUp app is available on iPhone, Android and Facebook (search for ‘TeamUp’ or visit www.teamup.com.au ) and allows users to connect with others in their area who are looking for people to exercise with.
