Third time’s the charm for Richmond’s Monique Conti, who has taken home Round 9’s AFLW MVP of the Week, presented by Snaffle.
Monique Conti has claimed the top spot following her third AFLW MVP of the Week nomination for Season 7.
Richmond’s star midfielder was a force to be reckoned with over the weekend when the Tigers took on the GWS Giants in Mildura. Despite the wet and windy conditions, Conti still managed to boot three goals and collected a game-high total of 23 disposals.
The gun midfielder also laid a game-high eight tackles and finished with a total of 441 metres gained, proving the youngster’s impact across the field.
The other AFLW MVP of the Week nominees for Round 9 were Charlie Rowbottom (Gold Coast Suns) and Kate Hore (Melbourne).
